ABOUT CRIIS - Creative Industry in Salford

CRIIS is a not for profit community enterprise established to provide a partnership between the creative industries and the community with multi-agency support to promote, establish and sustain the creative sector in Salford.

AIMS

CRIIS will provide training and employment opportunities within the creative sector locally, regionally, nationally and internationally, through a multi-agency partnership in order to raise the aspirations, opportunities and cultural awareness of the Citizens of Salford.

OBJECTIVES

To encourage disadvantaged groups to participate in the creative sector to promote personal and social development.

To improve levels of attainment of local school pupils and to highlight the creative sector as a possible career path.

To provide a network to share good practice and promote collaborative working within the sector.

To commission projects of merit through a fair and transparent process offering equal opportunities to all in line with the aims and objectives of CRIIS.

To showcase local creativity and talent.
